OOFRep
OOFRep is the first and only Report Writer library for Macintosh C++ programmers. This is a tiny demo to give a flavour of how OOFRep works. OOFRep is a wholly object-oriented design and works on a model of nested bands. One of the particular strengths of the OOFRep model is the ability to set global settings but still override them for a particular report. For example, the page footer on the Sample Report Clipping is a band that has been set as the default footer.

SoftPolish is a quality assurance tool that helps software developers ship clean and consistent applications. SoftPolish checks elements of the user interface that are contained in resources and reports potential problems to a scrolling log. It also performs hundreds of tests that are not visible to the user but may cause incompatibility with Macintosh System Software. This demo illustrates the SoftPolish user interface, including many options for scanning and cleaning files, folders, or disks. The sample file may be opened and viewed, however most other functions are disabled. The sample log file was generated by scanning BadApp, an application that illustrates some of the more common interface errors.

F is a carefully crafted subset of the most recent version of Fortran, the world's most powerful numeric language. This subset provides two significant advantages of teaching F instead of Pascal or C++: Pascal is not used outside the educational community, so experience does not translate into a useful skill in the engineering or business world; C++ programming is complicated and is difficult for the beginner to grasp. F retains the modern features of Fortran--modules and data abstraction, for example--but discards facilities such as EQUIVALENCE, which are difficult to teach, use, or debug.
